Meet Your Instructor!
Hello! My Name is Windsor Buzbee,
I am a Registered Nurse and Certified ISR instructor serving the Tallahassee area and surrounding communities. I started my career as an RN in the Pediatric ICU, and I still work in the NICU today! After witnessing the heartbreak of near drownings from the nursing bedside, I felt called to help change the statistics of childhood drownings. When I found ISR, I fell in love with what their program offered. Their evidence-based practice approach to sensori-motor learning is backed by over 50 years of research, and there are over 800 Documented cases of children who have saved their own lives with ISR's self-rescue of training. As a mother to twin toddlers now myself my passion for the ISR program has only grown.
I moved to Tallahassee from Central Florida {The birthplace of ISR!} where I was trained by an incredible Master Instructor who has been teaching for over 20 years!
I am truly so thankful to be able to teach infants, toddlers, and children how to swim and self-rescue. I absolutely love watching them grow from that nervous first day - to the excitement of jumping in to swim confidently at the end of the program!
